A Message to our Guests

A Message from our Pastor,

Jim Jones, to Our Guests.

Welcome to our site and to Christ United Methodist Church in Enid.  We have been serving Jesus Christ and the community of Enid and the world since 1955. What started on a former dairy farm has grown into a community of faith that desires to make a difference in our world.

At Christ Church, the people are dedicated to serving our Lord in a variety of ways.  We are actively involved in Volunteers in Missions (VIM) and have taken mission trips to Alaska, Costa Rica, Mexico, and in Oklahoma.  We also sponsor a child at the Methodist Boys Ranch in Oklahoma as well as serve on various boards and agencies in Enid.

Worship is a vital part of our life together and we offer two different services.  Whether your taste is in a traditional style or you prefer a more contemporary pace, we offer both and each service is designed to praise our Lord.  We also offer a Children’s Day Out program as well as our Annual Pumpkin Patch in October when we sell thousands of pumpkins and have a wonderful time serving the community.

I invite you to visit us and come see for yourself what we have to offer.  In all that we do, we are striving to be disciples of Jesus Christ and to make a positive impact on our community and our world.  Come and help us make a difference!

"And I am sure that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again."

(Phl 1:6 NLT)

'That is why we have a great High Priest who has gone to heaven, Jesus the Son of God. Let us cling to him and never stop trusting him.  This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same temptations we do, yet he did not sin."

(Hbr 4:14-15 NLT)
